一、架工安全带概述
架工安全带是防止高处坠落的安全用具。高度超过1.5m，没有其他防止坠落的措施时，必须使用安全带。使用原则为：高挂低用。 过去安全带用皮革、帆布或化纤材料制成，按国家标准现已生产了锦纶安全带。按工作情况分为：高空作业绵纶安全带、架子工用锦纶安全带、电工用绵纶安全带等种类。
二、架工安全带的正确使用
拉平，不要扭曲。三点式腰部安全带应系得尽可能低些，最好系在髋部，不要系在腰部；肩部安全带不能放在胳膊下面，应斜挂胸前。
1 安全带的使用不得改变安全带的工作结构。
2 遇有严重的碰撞、翻滚事件后，安全带必须更换。
3 如因化学作用、日光照晒使安全带破损、绽开或松软变形时，安全带必须更换。
4 如安全带金属连接部件弯曲、变形或锈蚀，安全带必须更换。
5 安全带的使用性能不佳时，安全带必须更换。
6 如使用非国际汽联注册的安全带，其厚度不小于1.5毫米、宽度不小于50毫米。
